Our 29,000 sq. ft. shop services off- and on-road heavy equipment and utilizes both apprentice and journeyman heavy equipment technicians, drivers, parts personnel and support staff. Shift rotation and daily hours are position-dependent.
We offer year-round camp jobs at our Foster Creek, Christina Lake and other projects for the following positions:
Camp shift rotations are position- and location-dependent. Daily hours vary.
Head office administration includes finance, human resources, training, marketing, IT, estimating, fleet management, administration support, safety and sales.
All camp work positions require Alberta CSTS or other province equivalent, a valid driver's license and driver's abstract. Depending on the position and location you may also need H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance 201, Leadership for Safety Excellence, Standard First Aid or others. These courses are your responsibility and are not reimbursed by Brown's.
Successful applicants for any location must pass both a Drug & Alcohol Test and a Physical Demand Analysis at their own expense but are reimbursed by Brown's provided they pass and work at least one month. The Brown's online orientation and other client orientations require an email address and computer Internet access for completion.
Brown's offers a comprehensive full-benefit package through the Merit Contractors Association including dental, life insurance, AD&D, long term disability and extended health (prescription drug benefits, medical services and supplies, out of province/Canada medical emergency benefits, vision care, chiropractor, etc.). If you are already on the Merit plan through another company your benefit hours are transferrable.
